QuickBookingPH is committed to protecting your privacy in compliance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information:

  • Guest booking data: Name, email address, phone number, check-in/check-out dates
  • Property owner data: Name, email, business name, DTI/SEC registration numbers, uploaded permits and IDs
  • Payment data: Processed securely by PayMongo — we do not store credit card numbers
  • Usage data: Browser type, IP address, pages visited, for analytics purposes

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To process and manage bookings between guests and property owners
  • To verify property owner legitimacy through document review
  • To send booking confirmations and notifications via email
  • To improve our platform, detect fraud, and maintain security
  • To comply with legal requirements and resolve disputes

3. Data Sharing

We share your information only when necessary:

  • With property owners: Guest booking details (name, email, dates) for reservation management
  • With payment processors: PayMongo processes payments under their own privacy policy
  • With email providers: Resend handles transactional emails under their privacy policy
  • With law enforcement: Only when required by Philippine law or court order

We never sell your personal data to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including: encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), Row Level Security on our database, secure document storage, and access controls for administrative functions. Verification documents are stored securely in Supabase Storage with restricted access policies.

5. Your Rights

Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data that we hold
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Delete your personal data (subject to legal and contractual obligations)
  • Object to processing of your data for marketing purposes
  • Data portability — receive a copy of your data in a structured format

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Favorites are stored in your browser's local storage and are not transmitted to our servers.

7. Data Retention

Booking data is retained for 3 years after checkout for accounting and dispute resolution purposes. Property owner verification documents are retained as long as the listing is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when the policy was last revised.
